Lake Superior Sunset
I chose this picture of a sunset because I found it very peaceful and calm and I have actually been to Lake Superior I don't think I have ever seen a sunset this beautiful. My favorite part about this picture is the single bird in the water because when I was in Lake Superior there were like a billion seagulls everywhere it was really exciting. I think the color in this photograph makes it look mysterious because you can't really tell what kind of subject its focusing on but at the same time its a really soothing color. The composition is a bit bland but for what the photographer was aiming for it looks good. I would change the color in this picture and make the subject a bit more clearer. If i could be there right now I would be sitting by the water feeling the breeze off of it and watching the sun go all the way down. If I was actually there I would put myself on the rocks down in the corner.
